This Saturday!! Are you ready?!

The 6th Annual Monroe Michigan Pub Crawl is days away. If this is the first you're hearing about it, and have no plans this weekend, join us!! The Monroe Pub Crawl is an open event for anyone that wants to join. Grab a group of friends, come on out and see some of Monroe's greatest bars.

If you do go, here's a checklist of some things to remember:

• Bring friends and bring a camera!

• Cash. A few of the bars are cash only.

• Food: Several of our stops serve food.

• Ride home. This is one night you need to plan ahead on a ride home. Don't be ashamed to use this #, it'll save you thousands of dollars! Program it in your phone now: Monroe Cab Co. 734-777-9218

• Comfortable shoes. The pub crawl is almost like a sport. You'll be on your feet for several hours. Be comfortable!

• Raffles - don't forget, we do raffles every year, they're usually a buck. We have cash winners every year. Free Keno giveaways and restaurant gift card giveaways will also be part of the raffles.

• Don't over do it! Take it slow. Too many drinks at the first few bars could really slow you down. Take it easy and have fun.

I think that's it! We are looking forward to another fantastic Monroe Pub Crawl. Come on out and celebrate. The first stop is Clam Digger's where you'll find everyone on the back deck (outside). Introduce yourself to everyone and let the fun begin!!

Raffles, Keno & More!

The Monroe Pub Crawl organizers have teamed up with the Michigan Lottery for Keno Cash giveaways all night long! Some of you may remember we had these a couple years back. A couple people won big, and several won enough to buy beers. Join the crawl for your chance to win some $$! Raffle's will be going all night as well which include gift cards to various restaurants.

The Crawl is only a week away! We've had some questions we wanted to address:

Q:  Does the crawl cost me money? 

A: No!  There is no charge for this, other than the drinks or food you buy yourself.  Think of this as a fun night out on the town for you and friends.  Feel free to bring some cash for raffles, but it's not needed.  

Q: Is the crawl a group of people that all know each other?

A: No! Every year a few of us organize it, and every year more and more new people join the crawl. It's a great opportunity to meet some new people and enjoy a summer night out.

Q: Do all the bars take debit card?

A: No! A few of the downtown bars only take cash. Beers are cheap though, but be sure to have some cash on you.
